Lunch Time
Lunch time is important at Bowland, not just a time to eat, but also as an opportunity to take part in the many extra curricular activities that take place.
The catering service offers a cafeteria-style system. This means pupils select and pay for what they want to eat each day from the wide choice that is available either from the main kitchen or the snack bar, situated in another building.
The range of food offered is extensive, mostly prepared on-site and is of a healthy nature. This includes salads, sandwiches and hot meals. Pupils are also welcome to bring packed lunches.
Because the morning is relatively long at Bowland, at morning break we offer snacks at a very reasonable rate. A breakfast club also operates offering a light snack before school and at break time.
